In his statement, Ali Yerlikaya confirmed that one of the terrorists detonated himself, and the other was “neutralised,” which typically implies that the second individual was killed by security forces. Yerlikaya also expressed determination, stating, “Our efforts will persist until every terrorist is eliminated.”
The chief prosecutor of Ankara initiated an investigation into the incident, classifying it as a terrorist attack.
It’s worth noting that authorities did not specify any particular militant group responsible for the attack at the time of the statement.
