Afghan National Killed in Balochistan Terror Incident, Body Returned to Kabul

A terrorist identified as Afghan national Muhammad Khan Ahmedkhel was killed on January 11, 2025, during an operation in Sambaza, Zhob district, Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Ahmedkhel, a resident of Bilorai village, Paktika province, Afghanistan, was reportedly involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan. After completing legal formalities, his body was handed over to the Interim Afghan Government (IAG) on January 20.

The ISPR labeled the incident as clear proof of Afghan nationals’ involvement in terrorism within Pakistan and urged Kabul to prevent its soil from being used for cross-border attacks.

In 2024, Pakistan conducted 59,775 intelligence-based operations, neutralizing 925 terrorists, including 73 high-value targets, marking a five-year counter-terrorism high.
