Brooklyn Beckham has once again drawn attention after his vow renewal speech, where he praised Nicola Peltz’s family but made no mention of his own parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
The 25-year-old reportedly delivered an emotional tribute during the intimate ceremony on August 2, held at his father-in-law Nelson Peltz’s estate. Guests revealed that Brooklyn Beckham spoke warmly about his wife Nicola and her parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz, highlighting their constant support.
“He spoke from the heart—at the centre of his heart is Nicola, but also the Peltz family who have really stuck by his side,” a source told The Mirror.
According to insiders, Brooklyn made a special effort to honor his in-laws, ensuring they received recognition in front of the 200 invited guests.
Victoria and David feel left out
The lack of any public acknowledgment of his own parents has reportedly upset David, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51. Family friends suggest the couple feel increasingly excluded from key milestones in their son’s life. Some even noted that Brooklyn Beckham’s actions seem “out of character” compared to the strong family image once displayed.
Nicola pays tribute to her parents
Adding further symbolism to the event, Nicola Peltz wore a redesigned version of her mother Claudia’s wedding gown. Her father Nelson also presided over the ceremony, emphasizing the central role of her family in the celebration.
Speculation of a rift between the Beckhams and the Peltz family has been ongoing since Brooklyn and Nicola’s 2022 wedding. While both families have maintained a public image of unity, this latest report may deepen rumors of tension.
For now, Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola appear focused on their bond, even as questions continue to surround the wider family dynamics.
