In a recent interview with GQ, the Oscar-winning star made the candid confession. โI donโt watch movies, man. I really donโt,โ he said. โI donโt go to the movies. I donโt watch movies. โฆ Iโm tired of movies.โ
The statement sparked immediate curiosity among fans. During the conversation, Denzel even asked how many movies he had done himself. He was reminded that he had acted in around 50 films throughout his career.
Denzel Washington’s acting journey began in 1981, and since then, he has built a legacy with roles in classics such as Training Day, Man on Fire, and The Equalizer. Despite his long career in cinema, he insists that his work does not revolve around awards or recognition.
