‘7 Jets Down, S‑400 Batteries Destroyed’ DG ISPR Slams Indian Army Chief’s ‘War Trailer’ Claims

‘7 Jets Down, S‑400 Batteries Destroyed’ DG ISPR Slams Indian Army Chief’s ‘War Trailer’ Claims

Pakistan’s DG ISPR strongly rejected recent comments made by Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi. The Indian general had described the brief May conflict as a “trailer” rather than a full-fledged military operation.

According to DG ISPR, the so-called trailer, which allegedly included the shooting of seven Indian aircraft, attacks on 26 locations, and destruction of S‑400 batteries, is nothing more than a fantasy. The spokesperson said if such a scenario were real, it would resemble a horror movie rather than a credible military achievement.

Speaking to senior journalists on national security matters, the DG ISPR emphasized that Pakistan remains unshaken by such statements. He dismissed the Indian claim as “self-delusion masquerading as military might” and criticized the cinematic tone of the remarks.

The Pakistani Army spokesperson also highlighted regional security concerns. He warned that the Afghan regime now poses a threat not only to Pakistan but to the wider region and the world. He clarified that Islamabad’s concerns are directed toward the Afghan Taliban regime, not ordinary Afghan citizens.

General Dwivedi made the controversial statement at a defense conference in New Delhi. He described the May confrontation, which lasted 88 hours, as a mere “trailer.” He also claimed that India is fully prepared to provide Pakistan with a “thorough education” if a similar situation arises in the future.

The remarks come after India’s May strikes inside Pakistan, which triggered four days of intense cross-border fighting. The clashes resulted in at least 70 casualties and the downing of multiple Indian jets, including Rafale aircraft.

Pakistan’s DG ISPR reaffirmed that the country remains vigilant and prepared to defend its sovereignty. He dismissed India’s cinematic narrative as baseless and reiterated that Pakistan’s military capability and resolve are not to be underestimated.
