Dubai immigration has introduced a new support initiative to help people facing visa-related difficulties in the emirate. The program offers assistance with accommodation, food, medical care and repatriation for those who need urgent support.
The announcement was made during a press briefing attended by senior officials. Dubai immigration Director General Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri urged individuals experiencing visa issues to contact the immigration authorities without delay.
He advised affected people to visit the Al Awir Centre and explain their cases to officials. According to him, every case will be reviewed so that appropriate assistance can be provided as quickly as possible.
Lieutenant General Al Marri said people who have no place to stay will receive temporary accommodation through the new support program. He added that individuals struggling to access food will also be provided with meals without unnecessary delays.
The initiative also includes healthcare support. Officials said free medical check-ups and dental treatment will be available for people who require medical assistance while resolving their visa issues.
The new measures are intended to ensure that people facing unexpected immigration problems receive basic support until their cases are resolved. Authorities said the initiative reflects Dubai’s commitment to assisting visitors and residents facing difficult situations.
