A male student at Evergreen High School near Denver, Colorado, died from self-inflicted injuries after a shooting on September 10, 2025.
The student fired a handgun inside and outside the school around 12:30 p.m., injuring two classmates. One student suffered critical injuries, while the other’s injuries were not life-threatening.
The shooter was hospitalized along with the two victims but later died from his injuries, confirmed by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities have not released the student’s name.
