A male student at Evergreen High School near Denver, Colorado, died from self-inflicted injuries after a shooting on September 10, 2025.
The student fired a handgun inside and outside the school around 12:30 p.m., injuring two classmates. One student suffered critical injuries, while the otherβs injuries were not life-threatening.
The shooter was hospitalized along with the two victims but later died from his injuries, confirmed by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities have not released the studentβs name.
Officials are investigating how the gun was obtained and the motive behind the attack. Counseling services are being offered to students, staff, and families affected by the incident.
