Ex-Biden Official Israel Has Committed War Crimes in Gaza

Matthew Miller, former spokesperson for the U.S. State Department under President Joe Biden, has publicly stated that he has “no doubt” Israel has committed war crimes in Gaza. Speaking on Sky News’ Trump 100 podcast, Miller gave a rare and candid glimpse into internal tensions within the former administration’s foreign policy team.

Reflecting on his role, Miller said, “You’re not a spokesperson for yourself… You espouse the positions of the administration.” Now out of office, he acknowledged that he could finally express his personal views, which diverge sharply from official U.S. policy during his tenure.

Addressing the Biden administration’s approach to Gaza, Miller noted both “small and big” disagreements over how to manage the U.S.-Israel relationship. He added that internal disputes were frequent, and hinted at friction between Secretary of State Antony Blinken and President Biden over policies related to both Gaza and Ukraine.

Miller’s comments add to mounting scrutiny of U.S. support for Israel amid the Gaza war, especially as allegations of international law violations continue to surface.
