The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has officially revealed the launch date for its long-awaited One-Visa system, a move aimed at simplifying travel across member states.
The One-Visa system will allow travelers to enter multiple GCC countries with a single visa, facilitating tourism, business, and regional mobility. Officials emphasized that the system is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen economic integration and cross-border cooperation within the Gulf region.
The initiative is expected to boost tourism, trade, and investment by reducing bureaucratic hurdles for visitors and expatriates. GCC member states confirmed that the system will be fully operational from the announced date, with digital processing and streamlined application procedures for travelers.
Analysts predict that the One-Visa system could significantly enhance regional connectivity and position the GCC as a more accessible and unified destination for global travelers.
