As Hajj 2025 begins, Kidana Development Company—the main developer of the holy sites—has unveiled a major new initiative: a two-storey tent project in Mina designed to enhance the pilgrimage experience.
According to a report by SPA, the project significantly upgrades accommodation standards for pilgrims by offering modern, high-quality, and permanent living spaces that emphasize safety, comfort, and operational efficiency.

Developed with 75% investment from the private sector, the project covers over 20,000 square meters and features more than 40 buildings equipped with over 550 bathrooms. The construction was completed in just about 100 days.
These new facilities are designed to host around 8,000 pilgrims from both within and outside Saudi Arabia. The housing follows a contemporary and sustainable design while maintaining the spiritual and traditional identity of the Mina area.
