Amid ongoing regional conflict, Iran has claimed to have obtained classified Israeli documents concerning Israel’s nuclear programs and facilities.

Iranian authorities appear to be revealing this information amid rising tensions surrounding Tehran’s own nuclear ambitions.

The operation to seize these documents took place some time ago, and due to the large volume of materials and the need for secure transportation into Iran, a media blackout was maintained to ensure their safe delivery to secure locations. Officials explained that analyzing the extensive collection of documents, videos, and images has required significant time.
This announcement is reminiscent of a similar 2018 event when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu disclosed that Israeli agents had acquired a large archive of Iranian documents, revealing more extensive nuclear activities by Tehran than previously understood.
In the geopolitical sphere, former US President Donald Trump had warned of military action against Iran if it failed to reach a nuclear deal with Washington. However, in April, he reportedly stopped an Israeli plan to strike Iranian nuclear sites, opting instead for diplomatic negotiations.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has reiterated that halting uranium enrichment would be entirely against the country’s interests, firmly rejecting a major US demand amid ongoing nuclear talks.
