Iran Denies Israeli Ceasefire Violation Claims as Tel Aviv Threatens Fierce Strikes

Iran has firmly rejected accusations from Israel that it breached the recently agreed-upon ceasefire by launching missile attacks after the truce came into effect. Iranian state media dismissed the claims as entirely baseless and fabricated.

“Iran did not fire any missiles at Israel following the start of the ceasefire,” reported Iranian state television. The semi-official ISNA news agency also denied the allegations through a Telegram post, and Nour News, a media outlet linked to Iran’s security apparatus, echoed the same stance.

The denials were issued after Israel’s Chief of General Staff, Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, publicly accused Iran of a serious breach of the ceasefire and warned of a forthcoming military response. “Due to this grave violation, we will retaliate with full force,” Zamir stated via the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) official account on X.

Following the alleged post-ceasefire missile launches, Israel’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, a close ally of Prime Minister Netanyahu, also took to X, ominously declaring, “Tehran will shake.”

In response, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council issued a statement warning Israel and its allies of serious consequences in the event of further hostilities. “Any additional aggression will be met with a swift, firm, and resolute reaction from Iran,” the statement read.

Iran praised its citizens for their unity and strength during the conflict, attributing what it described as Israel’s failure to the “strategic patience and resilience” of the Iranian people. The military was also commended for its calculated retaliatory strikes in response to Israeli actions in recent weeks.

The fragile ceasefire, initially welcomed by the international community as a step toward de-escalation, now appears at risk as both nations exchange threats and contradicting narratives.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has ordered the IDF to prepare a strong military response, insisting that Iran has violated the truce—despite Tehran’s continued denial of any hostile actions since the agreement was announced.

With tensions mounting and both sides on high alert, the potential for renewed conflict remains high.
