Iran Warns of Stronger Strikes If Israel Doesn’t Back Off

Iran

Tensions between Iran and Israel have hit a dangerous peak as Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a direct warning: if Israel’s aggression continues, Iran’s military response will intensify. In a press conference held in Tehran, Araghchi said Iran does not want war but won’t stay silent if attacked.

The Iranian minister defended Tehran’s recent missile strikes as acts of self-defence, citing Article 51 of the UN Charter. He stated clearly, “If the aggression stops, our responses will also stop.” Iran blames Israel for launching unprovoked airstrikes targeting its nuclear and military sites.

Araghchi also criticised the United States for not condemning the Israeli strikes. “The US must not remain silent on this blatant violation of international law,” he said, warning that continued silence from Washington could worsen the conflict.

So far, Israel has not officially responded to Araghchi’s statement, but it has claimed its strikes aim to prevent Iran from growing its military and nuclear power. With both nations exchanging fire for days, fears of a wider regional war are growing fast.
