Israel Killed 1,000 Palestinians in Northern Gaza in 3 Weeks

The Israeli military has killed over 1,000 Palestinians in northern Gaza and forced half of the population to flee due to relentless bombardments, leaving the remaining residents trapped without access to water or food for nearly three weeks, according to the Palestinian Civil Defense.

Spokesman Mahmoud Bassal stated in a social media video that the military offensive in northern Gaza is ongoing. He reported that more than 100,000 Palestinians in Jabalia, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia are enduring an Israeli siege and continuous attacks, while around 200,000 have been displaced toward Gaza City.

Bassal condemned the Israeli army for targeting those trying to assist Palestinians in northern Gaza, who are suffering from severe shortages of essential supplies. He accused Israel of engaging in ethnic cleansing amidst global silence and urged international humanitarian organizations to act urgently to aid the affected population.

Despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for a cease-fire, the Israeli military has continued its assault since last year’s Hamas attack, resulting in nearly 43,000 fatalities, primarily among women and children, and over 100,000 injuries, according to local health officials.

The ongoing blockade has severely restricted food, clean water, and medical supplies, displacing nearly the entire population of the region. Additionally, Israel is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its actions in Gaza.
