Israel woke up to devastation as Iranian missile strikes claimed at least 10 lives and left dozens injured in Tel Aviv and Haifa, with several people still missing in Bat Yam. President Isaac Herzog called it a “very sad and difficult morning” and condemned the attacks as “criminal.”

The strikes were part of Iran’s Operation True Promise III, launched in retaliation for Israeli airstrikes on Iranian infrastructure, including a fire-inducing hit on Tehran’s Shahran oil facility. Israel claims its recent operations targeted nuclear-linked sites.

President Herzog expressed sorrow and urged prayers for the injured and missing. Emergency services are still combing the wreckage for survivors, while families wait anxiously for updates.

The conflict shows no sign of slowing down, with each country justifying its actions as self-defence. As tensions escalate, the region watches nervously, fearing the fallout of an all-out war.
