Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has delivered a forceful message asserting Iran’s refusal to surrender, even as regional tensions remain high. In a social media statement, Khamenei emphasized the nation’s enduring spirit, saying, “The Iranian nation is not one that surrenders.”
The message follows continued conflict in the region, with Iranian leaders accusing Israel of initiating hostilities. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi echoed Khamenei’s stance, stating, “It was Israel that initiated this conflict,” while defending Iran’s military actions as legitimate and defensive in nature.

Araghchi commended Iran’s armed forces for what he described as a powerful and sustained response. “Our brave forces have continued to punish the Zionist state until the very last moment,” he said. “We have responded to every attack with full strength and will defend our homeland until the last drop of blood.”
Iran’s leadership also extended heartfelt appreciation to its military personnel, praising their sacrifice and resilience. The messages signal that despite diplomatic developments elsewhere, Tehran is far from backing down.
