Buckingham Palace has disclosed that King Charles has been diagnosed with a form of cancer. Although it is not prostate cancer, the diagnosis was made during recent treatment for an enlarged prostate.
The King commenced “regular treatments” on Monday following the diagnosis.

Despite this development, Buckingham Palace has conveyed that King Charles remains optimistic about his treatment and intends to resume full public duties soon.
In the interim, other senior members of the royal family will stand in for him during his treatment, leading to the postponement of his scheduled engagements.
