Missile from Yemen Triggers Sirens in Central Israel

A surface-to-surface missile fired from Yemen struck an unpopulated area in central Israel, causing no injuries, according to Israel’s military. The missile triggered air raid sirens across Tel Aviv and central Israel, sending residents to shelters.

The military confirmed that the missile crossed into central Israel before falling in an open area. Loud booms heard were from missile interceptors launched in response. No injuries were reported, and Israel’s protective guidelines for residents remain unchanged.

In a related incident in July, Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen launched a drone at Tel Aviv, killing one person and wounding four. This led to an Israeli airstrike on Houthi military targets, resulting in multiple casualties.
