A tragic incident in Uttar Pradesh has left the local community in shock. The mysterious death of 32-year-old Sheba, a resident of Delhi, was discovered at a hotel in the IP Colony area.
Sheba had checked into the hotel on Thursday with a man named Deepak. The next morning, when the hotel staff found the room locked, they opened the door and discovered Sheba’s lifeless body lying on the bed.
At first, there were no visible signs of violence or injury on the body, leaving the cause of death unclear. A post-mortem was ordered, but Sheba’s mother, Razia Begum, filed a complaint with the police, pushing for a murder investigation. The police quickly responded and registered a case.
Using CCTV footage from the hotel and room registration records, investigators narrowed their focus on Deepak, the man Sheba had been with. Deepak, who had fled after the incident, was apprehended by the police on Saturday.
During questioning, it was revealed that Sheba and Deepak had been in a relationship for over ten years. Sources claim Sheba had been pressuring Deepak to marry her, but Deepak, citing religious differences, refused to accept her as his wife. This tension reportedly led to a confrontation that ended tragically with Sheba’s death.
The post-mortem, completed on Saturday, has provided additional forensic evidence to support the ongoing investigation. The police are working diligently to build a strong case to present in court.
