SHARJAH – Sharjah Police announced the launch of a new series of license plates for classic vehicles and motorcycles on December 23. The initiative aims to modernize vehicle identification while preserving the heritage character of these vehicles.
The new license plates follow Sharjah’s approved vehicle plate design and visual identity. They include the First Category and private plates for classic cars, as well as First Category plates for motorcycles. This design combines modern standards with the unique heritage of the vehicles.
Sharjah Police said the license plates will be offered for sale through Emirates Auction. The auction will provide multiple options for buyers, focusing on quality, diversity, and alignment with the emirate’s efforts to enhance traffic services.
Officials emphasized that the initiative aims to deliver high-quality and distinctive services to vehicle owners. By introducing these specialized license plates, Sharjah reinforces its commitment to improving traffic management and vehicle-related services across the emirate.
