North Korea has issued a strong rebuke of the recent U.S. military strikes targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities, calling the action a clear breach of international law and a violation of the United Nations Charter.
In an official statement released by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), the attack was condemned as a serious violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial rights. The statement emphasized that such acts of aggression undermine the principles of non-interference and respect for national independence.

“The DPRK firmly opposes the U.S. military assault on Iran, viewing it as a flagrant disregard for international norms enshrined in the UN Charter,” the spokesperson said.
North Korea warned that employing force against sovereign nations not only threatens their independence but also endangers global peace and security. The regime blamed the United States and Israel for fueling unrest in the Middle East, accusing both of masking their aggressive military actions as efforts for peace and threat elimination.
The statement concluded with a call for the international community to stand against what it described as hostile and destabilizing policies by Washington and Tel Aviv, urging collective action to protect global stability and uphold international law.
