A single survivor has been found from the tragic Air India plane crash that occurred in Ahmedabad, India, where a Boeing aircraft carrying 242 passengers slammed into a residential area housing a medical college hostel.
The survivor, discovered in seat 11A, is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital. Speaking to Indian news agency ANI, officials confirmed the man was rescued alive but said it was too early to confirm the final death toll, which is expected to rise.

A surviving passenger, reportedly the lone escapee, recounted the terrifying moment: “About 30 seconds after takeoff, there was a loud noise, and then the aircraft crashed. It all happened very quickly.” His statement reflects the chaos and shock surrounding the disaster.
Tragically, the crash also claimed the lives of five young MBBS doctors who were eating in the hostel mess at the time. Rescue operations are ongoing as authorities sift through debris in search of more victims or possible survivors.
Investigations into the cause of the crash have been launched, and officials are working to notify the families of those on board.
