Pakistani Drones Spotted Over New Delhi, India’s Capital

The already tense relationship between Pakistan and India saw a dramatic spike when Pakistani drones were spotted over the Indian capital, New Delhi, following Pakistan’s recent military operation deep inside Indian territory.

Sources report that several drones of Pakistani origin were observed flying over the outskirts of New Delhi late last night. In response, Indian security forces have launched an investigation to assess the origin, purpose, and potential threat posed by the drone activity. However, Indian authorities have not yet issued any formal statements regarding the incident.

This development follows Pakistan’s military announcement of a targeted operation against key Indian military sites located beyond the Line of Control. Pakistan’s military described this operation as a “measured response” to what they termed as India’s repeated cross-border violations and attacks on civilian areas.

India’s Ministry of Defence rejected these claims, maintaining that no violation of its borders had occurred and reaffirming its readiness to defend itself against any form of aggression.

Experts suggest that the drone sighting could mark a shift towards hybrid warfare, combining traditional military tactics with advanced surveillance and cyber operations. This incident has sparked concern over the growing role of unmanned aerial systems in military operations, particularly in cross-border conflicts.

The global community is urging both nations to exercise restraint and engage diplomatically to prevent further escalation in a region already marked by long-standing tensions.
