Over 13.64 million kilograms of salt were exported between January and March, largely in edible, pure sodium chloride, and other salt categories. The increase highlights growing demand from China’s industrial and food sectors, and improved export logistics under CPEC.

Officials call it a “positive indicator” of Pakistan’s expanding role in international trade.
