Gaboro’s death follows the murder of another Swedish rapper, C.Gambino, earlier this year, raising concerns about the ongoing gang violence in Sweden. Both artists were linked to gang activity, and their killings reflect a broader pattern of violence tied to criminal groups in the country.
Sweden has faced a surge in gun-related crimes, with the highest rate of deadly shootings in the EU as of 2023. Despite recent improvements in solving such cases, gang-related violence remains a persistent challenge, with authorities warning of the increasing use of social media to recruit young people into criminal activities.
