In return, the Saudi Crown Prince expressed gratitude for the Iranian leaderโs warm sentiments and offered his own Eid greetings. He also welcomed the spirit of unity conveyed by Iranโs new leadership.
President Pezeshkian reiterated Iranโs desire to deepen collaboration with all Muslim countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, and emphasized the need for greater unity in the Islamic world. The cordial exchange comes as both nations continue efforts to rebuild ties following the landmark 2023 agreement brokered by China that restored formal diplomatic relations.
This latest outreach is seen as a positive sign for the broader Middle East, where increased coordination between Riyadh and Tehran could contribute to stability in a region long marred by rivalry and unrest.
