Former US President Donald Trump has denied any American involvement in the latest Israeli strikes on Iran, calling for peace talks while warning Tehran of devastating consequences if it targets the US.
As missile exchanges between Iran and Israel intensify, Trump wrote on Truth Social, “The US had nothing to do with the attack on Iran tonight,” but warned, “If Iran attacks us in any way, the full strength and might of the US Armed Forces will come down on you.”

Trump, expected to be the 2024 Republican nominee, claimed that a peace deal between Israel and Iran could be easily achieved and urged both sides to seek a diplomatic solution. His comments come amid Iran’s Operation True Promise III, which saw over 100 missiles fired at Israeli cities, killing at least 15 people.
Meanwhile, regional leaders, including Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, have called for calm, warning that Israel’s actions may be aimed at dragging the US into a wider war in the Middle East.
