Israel-Premier Tech has officially been rebranded as NSN Cycling Team after being taken over by the sports and entertainment company Never Say Never. The company was co-founded by former Barcelona and Spain footballer Andres Iniesta.
The Israeli-licensed Tech team faced protests during races this year due to political tensions. In response, Premier Tech stepped down as co-title sponsor in November, prompting a full rebrand for the 2026 season.
In a statement, the new management said NSN partnered with Stoneweg, a Swiss investment platform based in Geneva. The NSN Cycling Team will operate primarily from Barcelona and Girona and will be registered as a Swiss company.
โThe NSN Cycling Team and NSN Development Team will gather next week for the pre-season training camp,โ the team said. โWe will also unveil our new look and race program in the coming weeks.โ
Israel-Premier Tech had been excluded from the Giro dellโEmilia in September due to public safety concerns. The team faced disruption at the Vuelta a Espaรฑa after pro-Palestinian protests against Israelโs war in Gaza targeted them. During the Vuelta, riders removed the teamโs full name from their jerseys.
The team was originally created in 2014 by Ron Baron and Ran Margaliot and has been based in Israel. Over more than a decade, the team maintained its Israeli identity, which it has now decided to move away from following a branding review.
On November 9, 2025, the title sponsor Premier Tech ended its association with the team, accelerating the rebranding process. The move marks a significant change for the Tech team, as it transitions under new ownership and a fresh identity.
The NSN Cycling Team is set to start the season with a renewed focus on competition, training, and global exposure, leaving behind its previous political controversies. The Tech teamโs new chapter will highlight its sporting achievements while operating under an international banner.
