ISLAMABAD – Pakistan’s martial arts star and Guinness World Records holder Rashid Naseem has created history by setting 25 world records in a single year, further cementing his global reputation.

According to Guinness World Records, Rashid Naseem has been declared Pakistan’s top record-holder for 2025. Out of a total of 43 Guinness-recognized records by Pakistanis this year, 25 belong to him alone. His achievements span multiple challenging disciplines, including skipping, nunchaku, marble tile breaking, boxing punches, and walnut breaking.

One of his notable accomplishments this year includes securing a new Guinness World Record for the fastest boxing punches. Rashid’s performances have drawn international attention, highlighting Pakistan’s growing presence in competitive record-setting events.

The Naseem family has also contributed significantly to Pakistan’s record tally. His daughter, Fatima Naseem, achieved four world records, while his wife, Saba Rashid, added one more. His father, Naseemuddin, set a world record at the age of 73, showcasing that age is no barrier to achievement. Together, the family accounts for 31 of Pakistan’s 43 Guinness World Records in 2025, a first in the country’s sporting history.

Rashid Naseem also represented Pakistan in international talent shows and world record events in Italy, Romania, and Spain. His performances on global platforms helped raise Pakistan’s profile in record-setting sports.

Other Pakistani athletes contributing to the national tally include Irfan Mehsud with six records, Mohammad Arshad with two, and Sufyan, Wajahat, Shahzaib, and Abdul Basit each securing one. Additionally, one world record was achieved by a private company.
