Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Thursday reiterated the Pakistan Army’s zero-tolerance stance against any threat to national security, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.
The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) visited Lahore Garrison. He received a detailed briefing on operational readiness, training standards, and initiatives to boost combat efficiency.
During the visit, CDF Asim Munir observed a specialised field training exercise demonstrating the latest technologies. This showcased the Army’s focus on innovation and adaptability to meet future battlefield challenges.
He also inspected sports and recreational facilities, underlining their role in maintaining troops’ physical fitness, morale, and overall well-being.
The CDF visited the High Care Center at Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore, praising medical staff and administration for establishing a modern, fully equipped healthcare facility for soldiers.
Addressing officers, COAS Asim Munir reaffirmed the Army’s commitment to protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty and internal stability. He emphasized that the forces remain vigilant against all threats to national security.
“The Pakistan Army will continue to confront all challenges with professionalism, focus, and determination,” the CDF said. “Our mission is to safeguard the country’s territorial integrity and strengthen national security.”
Earlier, upon arrival at Lahore Garrison, the COAS & CDF was received by Commander Lahore Corps. The visit highlighted the Army’s dedication to discipline, excellence, and selfless service to the nation.
Pakistan’s military leadership stressed that maintaining national security remains a top priority. Officials also noted that continuous training, modernisation, and welfare initiatives are key to ensuring the Army’s readiness against any internal or external threat.
The visit underlined Pakistan Army’s unwavering resolve to protect the nation while promoting a culture of professionalism and excellence among its personnel.
