Gold and Silver Prices Surge in Pakistan – Jan 20, 2026

KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant increase on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, according to the latest interbank rates. The surge comes amid strong domestic demand and global market fluctuations.

Investors and traders observed sharp gains in both local and international gold markets. The rising trend reflects continuing market momentum and changes in currency exchange rates.

Domestic Gold Rates Increase

The 24-karat gold tola jumped to Rs. 493,662, rising by Rs. 4,300 from the previous rate. Similarly, 10-gram 24K gold increased to Rs. 423,235, up Rs. 3,686. The 10-gram 22K gold also climbed to Rs. 387,979, marking a rise of Rs. 3,379.

These gains highlight growing demand for gold as a safe-haven investment amid economic uncertainties. Traders are actively monitoring price movements to adjust buying and selling strategies.

International Gold Market

International gold prices also saw an upward trend. One ounce of gold traded at $4,713, up by $43 from the previous rate. The increase is attributed to global market shifts, including changes in currency values and international demand for precious metals.

Silver Prices Follow Gold

Silver prices in Pakistan mirrored the rise in gold. The 24K silver tola increased to Rs. 9,869, up Rs. 87. Similarly, 10-gram 24K silver reached Rs. 8,461, rising by Rs. 75. On the international market, silver traded at $93.94 per ounce, reflecting a $0.87 increase.
