PTI Ends Protest Outside Supreme Court After Assurance on Imran Khan’s Medical Report

PTI leaders ended their protest outside the Supreme Court on Friday after receiving assurances from court officials. They were told that Imran Khan’s medical report would be shared with his family.

The protest was led by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja. The demonstration began after Khan was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences for an eye procedure.

According to PTI leaders, Khan’s family was not informed about his medical condition. This lack of information raised serious concerns within the party and led to the protest.

Salman Akram Raja met Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and other senior court officials. He said the assurance was a positive step. However, he added that it was not fully satisfactory.

Raja stressed that the health of the party’s founding chairman remains the top priority. He said PTI would continue to demand access to Khan’s personal doctors.

PTI leaders said they want full transparency regarding Khan’s treatment. They also want direct communication between doctors and family members.

In addition to medical access, PTI raised concerns about Khan’s jail rights. These include regular meetings with his family and legal team.

KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said the party will hold an internal meeting soon. During this meeting, PTI will decide its next political steps.

He also announced that a nationwide protest will be held on February 8. The protest will demand Imran Khan’s release and better treatment.

Over the past few days, PTI has repeatedly voiced concern over Khan’s health. The party claims that jail authorities are delaying proper medical care.

PTI leaders said Khan is suffering from a serious eye condition. They accused the government of interfering with his treatment.

The party has called for immediate and independent medical attention. It wants qualified specialists to examine Khan without restrictions.

Court officials have not commented publicly on the issue. However, PTI said it expects further progress soon.

For now, the protest outside the Supreme Court has ended. PTI said it will monitor the situation closely.
