An event was organized today at the High Commission of Pakistan in Nairobi to mark Kashmir Solidarity Day. The gathering was attended by Kenyan citizens and members of the Pakistani diaspora.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Messages from the President, the Prime Minister, and the Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan were read aloud. Senior community members expressed concern over human rights violations and atrocities committed by the “occupation forces” in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK).
Addressing the audience, the High Commissioner emphasized the urgent need for a peaceful resolution of the internationally recognized Jammu & Kashmir dispute. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people in their pursuit of justice and self-determination.
The High Commissioner assured attendees that the Government of Pakistan will continue to provide full moral, diplomatic, and political backing to the just struggle of Kashmiris. He stressed that Pakistan remains committed to supporting the realization of the inalienable right of the Kashmiri people to self-determination.
The event highlighted the importance of global awareness and solidarity with Kashmiris. Attendees reiterated calls for an end to human rights violations and stressed the significance of peaceful dialogue in resolving the longstanding conflict.
The High Commission’s initiative reflects Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to raising international attention on Kashmir’s plight and supporting its people through diplomatic and political channels.
