Other batters also failed to support the chase. Salman Ali Agha scored 26 runs, while Saud Shakeel added 15. Hassan Khan made 12 runs, Hasan Ali scored 1, and Noman Ali contributed 4 runs.
Earlier on the fifth day in Mirpur, Bangladesh declared their second innings at 240 for 9. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto played a key role with 87 runs. Mominul Haque also supported well with 56 runs.
For Pakistan, Hasan Ali and Noman Ali took three wickets each in the innings. Shaheen Afridi claimed two wickets, while Mohammad Abbas picked up one wicket. Despite these efforts, Bangladesh kept control of the match.
Noman Ali also reached an important milestone during the game. He completed 100 wickets in Test cricket, marking a significant achievement in his career.
In the first innings, Pakistan had elected to field after winning the toss. Bangladesh scored 413 runs in response. Pakistan replied with 386 runs in their first innings, keeping the contest close at that stage.
