Trump Says Iran Deal ‘Almost Done’ as Major Announcement Expected Soon

US President Donald Trump has claimed that a possible peace Deal with Iran is close to completion, raising hopes of easing tensions in the Middle East after months of diplomatic efforts.

Speaking to reporters, Trump said the proposed Deal is “largely finalized” and only requires final approval from the United States, Iran, and other participating countries. He added that an official announcement could be made soon if all sides agree on the remaining details.

According to Trump, he recently held an important telephone conversation with several regional leaders to discuss the proposed peace framework. The talks reportedly focused on Iran as well as broader security and political issues in the Middle East.

The high-level call included leaders from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain. The discussion was conducted from the Oval Office.

Trump said the main focus of the conversation was a proposed “Memorandum of Understanding” designed to support regional peace and stability. He also confirmed holding a separate discussion with the Israeli Prime Minister, which he described as positive and constructive.

Although final negotiations are still ongoing, Trump indicated that the Deal may soon move into its final stage. Officials are reportedly reviewing remaining technical and political matters before making any formal announcement.

Meanwhile, several American media outlets claimed that Pakistan played an important behind-the-scenes role during the diplomatic process. Reports suggested that Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir maintained communication with officials from the United States, Iran, and Gulf countries to help reduce tensions.

According to these reports, his recent visit to Iran also contributed to improving communication between both sides. Media sources claimed that Pakistan supported backchannel diplomacy during sensitive discussions linked to the peace Deal.

Officials familiar with the talks said diplomatic contacts increased in recent weeks. They added that regional countries have shown interest in supporting efforts aimed at avoiding further conflict in the Middle East.

Analysts believe any successful Deal between the United States and Iran could significantly impact regional politics, trade, and security. It may also help reduce tensions that have affected global energy markets and diplomatic relations for years.
