The Islamabad Police has announced a major recruitment drive for Constable positions in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). A total of 1,668 vacancies are available for eligible male and female candidates from across Pakistan.
The recruitment is being conducted for Constable (BS-07) positions. Interested applicants who meet the required education, age, and physical standards can apply online and become part of the federal capital’s law enforcement force.
According to the recruitment details, the vacancies will be filled through provincial and regional quotas. The policy aims to ensure fair representation and a transparent selection process based on merit.

The department has invited candidates with a Matriculation or equivalent qualification to apply for the available positions. The age limit for applicants has been set between 18 and 25 years.

Physical Requirements
Candidates must meet specific physical criteria to qualify for the recruitment process.
Male applicants must have a minimum height of 5 feet 7 inches. They must also meet the required chest measurement of 33 to 34½ inches.
Female applicants must have a minimum height of 5 feet 2 inches.
Applicants will also participate in an endurance test. Male candidates must complete a 1.5-mile run within 10.5 minutes. Female candidates must complete the same distance within 15 minutes.
Required Documents and Selection Process
Candidates must bring original documents during the physical test. Required documents include CNIC, educational certificates, and domicile certificates.
The department has emphasized transparency and merit throughout the recruitment process. Officials stated that candidates providing false information or fake documents may face legal action.
