Since the introduction of the locally-assembled HS Essence SUV, MG Pakistan has maintained price stability. However, with the recent surge in the dollar rate, the company is preparing for a price increase.
Based on a reliable source, MG has decided to raise the HS Essence’s price by Rs. 300,000. This adjustment will take effect from September 1, 2023.

In an effort to enhance its competitive position, MG Pakistan disclosed plans to launch two new HS SUV variants: Excite and 2.0 AWD. These additions were revealed during a press tour held last month.

Furthermore, MG is looking to expand into the sedan market, which commands a significant 45% market share. Asif Ahmed, General Manager of the Marketing Division, expressed enthusiasm for the sedan segment and hinted that the MG GT might be their inaugural sedan offering.
Although specific details about the new variants’ features and prices remain undisclosed, their introduction is expected to reinforce HS’s status as a formidable contender among compact crossover SUVs.
