The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) is preparing to auction commercial plots in Islamabad. The auction is expected during the first week of September.
According to an official spokesperson, the auction will feature several commercial properties. These will be located in the G-13 and G-14 sectors.
The auction will include commercial plots in G-13 and G-14. Plots in G-14 Markaz will also be offered to interested investors.
Class-III commercial plots in G-14/2 will be part of the auction. Mixed-use commercial plots are also included in the planned sale.
In addition, a corporate office plot in the Mauve Area will be offered. The properties are positioned near several major transport routes.
The plots are located close to the Metro Bus route and GT Road. Their location provides convenient access to important parts of Islamabad.
The properties are approximately eight minutes from the M-1 and M-2 motorways. They are also around 12 minutes from New Islamabad International Airport.
The FGEHA said investors will have an opportunity to begin development early. Building plan approval can be sought after an initial payment of 25 percent.
This facility could help investors start construction-related work sooner. It may also increase the commercial appeal of the offered plots.
According to the authority, the locations have strong commercial potential. Their accessibility and planned infrastructure are expected to support future development.
The proximity to major transportation links is another key feature. These include the Metro Bus route, GT Road, and nearby motorways.
Preparations for the auction are currently underway. The FGEHA is working on the auction brochure and publicity campaign.
Officials are also preparing the auction schedule and other administrative arrangements. Operational preparations are being completed ahead of the planned event.
The authority said these measures aim to ensure a transparent process. They are also intended to promote fair and competitive bidding.
However, the exact auction date has not been finalized yet. The first week of September remains the expected timeframe.
Interested investors are advised to monitor the authority’s official channels. Updates about the final date and auction details will be shared there.
The FGEHA operates under the Ministry of Housing and Works. It develops residential and commercial projects for federal government employees.
