The Gold Rate in Pakistan continued its upward trend on Tuesday. Gold prices increased for the sixth consecutive session.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), gold gained Rs. 2,400 per tola. The price reached Rs. 459,736 per tola.
The latest increase came after another rise in international gold prices. Global market movements continue to influence local bullion rates.
The price of 10-gram gold also recorded a notable increase. It rose by Rs. 2,050 to reach Rs. 394,149.
The latest rise extends gold’s strong gains recorded since August 5. During this period, the per tola price has increased by Rs. 31,800.
On Monday, gold prices had already increased by Rs. 800 per tola. The rate reached Rs. 457,366 at the end of that session.
The continued increase has pushed the local Gold Rate close to the Rs. 460,000 mark. Market participants are closely watching international price movements.
In the international market, gold prices also moved higher on Tuesday. The price increased by $24 to reach $4,373 per ounce.
Global gold prices can have a direct impact on rates in Pakistan. Local prices often respond to changes in international bullion markets.
Currency movements can also influence domestic gold prices. However, the latest increase was mainly supported by higher international prices.
Silver prices also increased during Tuesday’s trading session. The price of silver rose by Rs. 62 per tola.
Silver reached Rs. 6,965 per tola in the local market. Despite the increase, its price remained below the Rs. 7,000 level.
The latest data shows continued strength across the precious metals market. Gold has recorded gains in each of the past six sessions.
The rising Gold Rate may affect consumers planning to purchase jewelry. Higher bullion prices can also increase the overall cost of gold ornaments.
Investors and traders are likely to monitor international markets for further direction. Any major movement in global gold prices could affect local rates.
For now, the latest APGJSA figures show gold trading at Rs. 459,736 per tola. The 10-gram price stands at Rs. 394,149.
