A notorious gang involved in motorcycle thefts and robberies across the city was captured with the help of CCTV footage. The operation took place within the Aram Bagh police station’s jurisdiction on Thursday.
The gang consisted of three members who had managed to evade law enforcement since the previous week. They were engaged in stealing motorcycles from MA Jinnah Road. The police gathered evidence from CCTV footage and conducted an operation to locate and arrest the gang members.

The stolen motorcycles were from various locations, including two taken from the Nabi Bakhsh police station’s jurisdiction and two from the Aram Bagh neighborhood.
In addition to this, Karachi has been facing the issue of illegal Iranian petrol distribution in the city. Some individuals have been selling Iranian gasoline in plastic canisters without authorization. This illicit trade poses threats to public safety and undermines legitimate businesses, as well as government efforts to regulate the petroleum industry.
Concerned citizens have appealed to authorities to take action against the unsafe sale of fuel.
