Tecno, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is set to unveil its first clamshell foldable smartphone, the Tecno Phantom V Flip.
The official launch event is scheduled for September 22 in Singapore at 12 PM PKT. Tecno aims to showcase its commitment to innovative form factors and redefine flip phones’ style and functionality for fashion-forward and tech-savvy audiences.
While specific details about the Tecno Phantom V Flip remain under wraps, leaked images reveal a circular cover display with two cameras.

This design aligns with previous leaks and features a primary camera on a circular island and a secondary screen in the middle, a common layout in clamshell foldable phones from other manufacturers.
Additionally, the Phantom V Flip was recently spotted on Google Play Console, hinting at some key specifications, including a 6.9-inch 1080p folding display, 8 GB of RAM, and Android 13 as the operating system.
The device is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 1300 chipset. Tecno is known for its competitive pricing, and it’s likely that the Phantom V Flip will be priced attractively compared to its rivals. However, official pricing details are yet to be confirmed.
