The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) notified the deadline for reporting income taxes on Thursday.
Taxpayers should submit their income tax forms by September 30 according to the FBR. It stated that there will be no extensions to the deadline for filing income tax returns.

The accounts of the loss-making Pakistan International Airline (PIA) were unfrozen by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on September 13.
Out of the outstanding 8 billion rupees, PIA was required to make a sizable payment to FBR of 2.5 billion rupees.
Following that, the airline began to have serious financial problems, including a delay in paying employees.
