Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has introduced a special offer for students in celebration of International Students Day. The national flag carrier has announced a 20 percent discount on flights to China, accompanied by an increased luggage allowance of 80 kg for students.
This offer is applicable to PIA’s weekly flight, operating every Sunday on the Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route. The initiative aims to facilitate student travel between Pakistan and China and encourage their participation in air travel.

PIA, which faced substantial financial losses due to fuel shortages, has been implementing various measures to attract passengers. Prior to this student-centric offer, the airline had announced a 15% discount on tickets for passengers traveling from Toronto to Pakistan, demonstrating efforts to boost customer engagement.
Moreover, in a bid to make air travel more accessible, PIA had recently reduced ticket prices for Umrah by up to Rs. 6,000. These initiatives reflect the airline’s commitment to adapting to market demands, providing incentives, and addressing financial challenges to enhance its competitiveness.
