Recognizing the historical ties between athletes and law enforcement, IG Punjab extended a warm welcome to Shadab Khan, emphasizing the importance of this collaboration.
Following the ceremony, the Additional IG guided Shadab Khan through various departments within the Central Police Office, acquainting him with the operational dynamics and functions.
However, despite this momentous occasion, Shadab Khan faced a setback in his cricketing career. He sustained an injury during the National T20 Cup, resulting in his exclusion from the upcoming T20I series scheduled during the New Zealand tour.
