Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi confirmed on Thursday that Shan Masood will remain the captain of the national team for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh.
Naqvi mentioned he had a video call with Masood to discuss improvements for the team in Test cricket. He clarified that no decision has been made to remove Masood as Test captain, and the 34-year-old opening batter will continue to lead the team, receiving positive feedback about his leadership.

Regarding venues for the Bangladesh Test series, Naqvi stated that the PCB has finalized Multan, Karachi, or Rawalpindi as the venues, with Gaddafi Stadium undergoing upgrades. The two-match series is part of the ICC Test Championship 2023-2025.
