On Thursday, the price of gold in Pakistan continued its upward trend. The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association reported that the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,200 to Rs246,800.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,029 to Rs211,591. Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold remained stable at Rs193,959. Internationally, the price of gold saw a slight decline to $2,382 per ounce from the APGJSA’s report of a $10 decrease during the trading day.

In contrast, silver prices in the local market held steady at Rs2,900 per tola. Analysts attribute the rise in gold prices to various factors such as fluctuations in global markets, currency exchange rates, and overall economic conditions.
