Islamabad Police have transferred Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed to Balochistan Police, according to News. Sources indicate that Javed will soon appear before a judge in Islamabad, and after obtaining a transit remand, she will be moved to Balochistan.
This series of arrests follows Javed’s repeated releases by the courts. Just yesterday, the District and Sessions Court in Islamabad denied the FIA’s request for her physical remand and ordered her release, but she was re-arrested by police immediately afterward.
