Just days before the world’s biggest sporting event, Lady Gaga was seen arriving in Paris. Famous for her performance of Edith Piaf’s “La Vie en Rose” in “A Star is Born” and her Las Vegas residency, she is rumored to be rehearsing for the Opening Ceremony. R&B star Aya Nakamura and Celine Dion are also speculated to perform.
For the first time, the Opening Ceremony will be held outside a stadium, along the Seine River. The event will feature 85 boats carrying athletes from each Olympic delegation in a four-mile parade from Pont d’Austerlitz to the Eiffel Tower. The ceremony will showcase Paris’ historical landmarks and include 3,500 actors, dancers, and musicians.

The show, designed by theatre director Thomas Jolly, known for the rock-opera musical “Starmania,” will be a significant artistic event. Jolly did not reveal details about the performers, only stating, “All I can tell you is that it will be very meaningful for the artists that will perform.”
Gaga is preparing for a busy period. She stars as Harley Quinn in “Joker: Folie à Deux,” the sequel to 2019’s “Joker,” set to release on October 4, which will feature 15 reinterpretations of classic songs. Additionally, she is working on her seventh studio album, saying, “I have written so many songs and I have produced so many songs. It’s nothing like anything that I’ve ever made before.”
