The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab has detained 38 terrorists during a series of intelligence-driven operations across several provincial cities this month.
Operations in cities such as Lahore, Rahim Yar Khan, Narowal, Rawalpindi, and Multan aimed to address terrorism concerns and thwart potential attacks. The crackdown also reached Jhang, Sargodha, Khanewal, Vehari, Bahawalpur, Lodhran, and Bahawalnagar.

Notable arrests include a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) operative from Lodhran and a Daesh commander from Bahawalpur. The CTD recovered a significant haul of illegal items, including explosives, grenades, weapons, phones, and cash, believed to be intended for attacks on law enforcement and key sites.
In total, the CTD Punjab conducted 449 intelligence-based operations throughout the province this month, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to security and countering extremist threats.
