Mahira Khan, celebrated for her acting and beauty in Pakistan and beyond, shared a throwback dance video on Sunday that has captivated her fans. The video, filmed on the set of the movie Neelofer—which also stars Fawad Khan and tells the story of a writer and a blind woman in love—was directed by Ammar Rassol and released earlier this year.
In her caption, Mahira Khan reflected on how music helps her escape reality, stating, “I recently realized that nothing in the world makes me escape like music does. While deleting old videos, I found this one and it struck a chord with me. Music is my escape, and when I can’t resist, I have to dance, even on tough days. A song can uplift me momentarily, making me happy.”

She continued, “Sometimes my makeup artist, friends, or husband find it endearing or amusing and record me. Other times, they just ignore it, like Seher in this video. But they all understand that dancing is my happy place.”
She concluded her post with “Tender mercies ????????♀️????️” and challenged her fans to “guess the set” where the video was filmed. Her fans quickly identified it with one word: Neelofer.
